The famous German Twitch streamer Marcel “MontanaBlack” Eris held the live show Get Away! on the streaming channel Joyn. His guests had to face challenges in a prison and fight for victory in the final. Knossi was able to win the event, but a finalist suffered a serious injury.
It was the first major event of his own in a long career: MontanaBlack hosted a big live show with well-known guests from the German streaming scene – Get Away!.

Get Away!: Knossi wins, Kayla injured
What did the challenges look like? To determine the 3 finalists, the influencers went through 5 challenges. All with a prison theme:
- 1. Challenge: Escape from a prison cell
- 2. Challenge: All had to open locks together
- 3. Challenge: Seek and find – employee IDs in the cafeteria
- 4. Challenge: Getting through the sewer to the washroom
- 5. Challenge: Rappelling down from a window with bed sheets
For the win, the tasks had to be completed as quickly as possible, but there were also time penalties for poor performance. The best 3 had to face the “ultimate MontanaBlack challenge” at the end.
Who won the event? In the final, Knossi, UnsympathischTV, and Kayla Shyx faced off. The final task was called “Wall of Pain” – the participants had to dig through a wall that was completely filled with sand.
Knossi was able to win the last game and stood as the winner at the end of the show.
However, the final was overshadowed by an unfortunate injury.
What kind of injury was it? During the show, it wasn’t entirely clear. The corresponding scene wasn’t shown because the camera was pointed at Knossi and UnsympathischTV at that time.
Twitch streamer Kayla Shyx suffered a severe injury. She gave an update on her condition in an Instagram story. The story was shared on Twitter:
Kayla Shyx writes: ‘Hey guys. Both arms are broken and I was immediately operated on under general anesthesia’.
The accident likely did not occur due to the digging challenge. Monte gave an initial statement about it on Twitter:

According to this, Kayla Shyx wanted to pull herself up on something, possibly slipped and fell backward. She tried to brace herself with both hands, but the impact was so strong that she broke both arms in the process.

What do viewers say about the show? The reactions to the show are mixed. There is much praise for the event, and many viewers found it entertaining (via twitter.com).
However, the host and organizer MontanaBlack did not go down well with many viewers. He was constantly seen with his e-cigarette and was said to be unprepared. Many fans emphasize that this was his first event of this kind.
Overall, opinions vary widely, but many see potential in such events.
Further criticism was directed at the games and challenges. Some viewers found them too easy and not exciting enough. The finale, in particular, is criticized. There was said to be a significant advantage for the winner Knossi – his ankle cuffs had loosened, while the other participants were more heavily hindered.
