How to Obtain and Use Masterful Strike
How do I get Masterful Strike? To obtain the skill, you must complete the combat training with Kater in the Nomad Camp. You can learn about him and his training for the first time by speaking to Bara in Troskowitz. However, that is not strictly necessary; you can also just travel to the Nomad Camp.
The Nomad Camp is located west of Troskowitz. You will find Kater near the combat area, which is located in the northeast of the camp. However, he will only fight you if you are wearing armor.
In total, you need to win two fights against Kater for him to teach you the skill. The first fight is relatively easy, as your trainer will not fight back.
The second one will be trickier, as he will use the Masterful Strike against you and can kill you with a single hit. We recommend saving your game between the first and second fight, so you won’t have to repeat the first fight constantly.
Once you have defeated Kater, he will unlock the skill for you, and you will find it under the category “Sword” in “Attributes”.
How do I use Masterful Strike? From now on, you can use the skill in any fight. At the moment your opponent attacks you, you need to strike from the opposite direction. This way, you can interrupt the opponent’s attack while also landing a good hit.
