Now the role-playing game is getting a second part. But the announcement of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 for a release in 2024 has completely gone wrong.
What went wrong with the announcement?
- The announcement of Kingdom Come Deliverance was not planned, but rather happened through an accidental leak.
- On the gaming site IGN, the trailer for the announcement of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 was apparently uploaded to the video player too early, and players discovered it because it played simply as an advertisement.

Why is Kingdom Come Deliverance such a special game? On Metacritic, Kingdom Come Deliverance, which was released in 2018, has a rating of 76%, which is not particularly strong.
However, it is already considered a cult game because it is such a unique game with a special setting and gameplay. The game places a particularly strong emphasis on realism and uses elements from survival games such as sleep and hunger.
For some reviewers, it was like “Skyrim without magic.” GameStar called it the “Czech Gothic”. At its peak, it reached almost 96,000 concurrent players on Steam.
Unlike the dominant American games, the title from the Czech Republic has its own look and gameplay feel.

Update April 19, 10 AM: The role-playing game was indeed presented as expected on Thursday evening. The new game does not yet have a specific release date but is supposed to be released in 2024. The world will be twice as large as in the original, and firearms are expected to be introduced.
