Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is, like its predecessor, an expansive game with a large map. In this article, we gather all important information about the map and game world of the medieval RPG. Additionally, you will find an interactive map here.
What is important to know about the map? Just like the first part, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is an open-world game. However, the world is designed to be much clearer than in other role-playing games like Witcher 3 or Skyrim.
It basically consists of different regions where you can find cities and villages, forests and caves.
The big difference from part 1 is that there are now two areas, each with its own map. This significantly expands Kingdom Come 2 in comparison. Overall, the game is said to be twice as large as its predecessor.

How is the game world divided? Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is divided into two areas:
- “Bohemian Paradise”: This is where you arrive first. This map is dominated by nature. However, there are still villages and settlements, as well as Trosky Castle.
- “Kuttenberg”: The well-known medieval city becomes accessible later in the game. It is supposed to be larger than the cities in its predecessor and also has surrounding areas that can be explored.
Just like in the predecessor, you cannot see the entire map at the beginning. Only when you travel to the areas will the cloud cover over the map gradually be removed.
At important locations such as villages or cities, there are once again fast travel points. They will be unlocked automatically as you approach the corresponding location. Other important locations will also be marked on the map when you discover them.
What else does the map show? Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is a role-playing game with numerous main and side quests, as well as contracts. You will also find them on the map. The game uses different symbols for different types of quests, which you can see in the following image:
By looking at the map, you will always know where to go next. The same applies to important places that you want to find again later. Such as an underground entrance, a camp, or a fence where you can sell stolen goods.

The second area becomes accessible only after a certain amount of gameplay and progress in the main quest. Kuttenberg is a large city and significantly larger than Rattay from the predecessor.
