In a live show of the podcast “Offline + Ehrlich,” Twitch streamer Max “Trymacs” Stemmler talked about how he got kicked out of his own clan in Clash of Clans. The reason: He did not attack a village in time. Trymacs finds his expulsion justified.
Why was Trymacs kicked out of the clan? Trymacs explains in a live show of “Offline + Ehrlich” that he was expelled from his clan in Clash of Clans due to a missed attack. In the game, players have 24 hours to attack an opponent’s village during a war. During this time, the Twitch streamer failed to fulfill his duty as a clan member.

unsympathischTV reports that he has received submissions from chats from his viewers for his videos. These submissions are about a person who got expelled from a clan in Clash of Clans because they were not online for a week. The person’s explanation that he had school was not accepted by his clanmates.
Why does Trymacs find the expulsion fair? Trymacs can understand this approach; after all, during a war, you have 23 hours to prepare and then another 24 hours to attack your opponent.
Trymacs finds that sufficient time because “Your clan needs you. It really needs you. It needs your two attacks.” (via YouTube). Otherwise, the clan war will be lost.
Because Trymacs himself had once failed to make an attack in that time, he finds the expulsion justified and says: “I have full understanding. (…) Kick me out, I messed it up.”
After his expulsion, Trymacs was readmitted; however, he was not allowed to participate in a clan war initially and had no leadership position.
Trymacs has a special relationship with Clash of Clans: Trymacs takes the mobile game very seriously. It was one of the first games, alongside Clash Royale, that he played at the beginning of his Twitch career. During the filming of his own show “Nerd in the Dirt,” he even let his girlfriend play so that his account wouldn’t be unattended and he wouldn’t lose important items.
By the way, Trymacs would not allow his podcast colleagues unsympathischTV and Varion to join his current clan. They are not invested enough for the Twitch streamer. Other Twitch colleagues of Trymacs have found a special way to annoy him: Trymacs has an expensive Fortnite account, but only because his Twitch colleagues want to annoy him.
