In recent weeks, you were able to catch many Kangama and Icognito in Pokémon GO , but they have now disappeared.
The joy among the trainers was great when Niantic announced a more frequent spawn of Kangama and Icognito a few weeks ago. But now this special safari event is over. For several hours, there have been no increased spawns of these rare Pokémon.
Icognito and Kangama disappeared again
Since this afternoon, reports of Kangama and Icognito have been decreasing. The event is now apparently over and the rare Pokémon will spawn as usual again. Hopefully, you’ve already caught a few of the desired monsters and are not too late. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait for the next safari event, where you might get another chance to catch them.
More than two weeks ago, on August 4, Niantic announced that suddenly rare monsters would appear in Europe. This referred to Icognito and Kangama, which are otherwise quite rare to see. Kangama usually only appears in Australia.
A total of eight large German cities were the target of this special safari event. Berlin, Munich, and Oberhausen were part of the safari spectacle.
The surprising event received a lot of support, and trainers from all over Germany made the journey to one of the event cities to catch these rare monsters. And they were indeed frequent there. In our Facebook group, many trainers reported just a few hours after the event started that the cities were besieged and Kangama and Icognito could be found everywhere. It quickly became clear that Icognito appeared in the forms of E, U, R, O, and P – together they formed the word “Europe”.
To allow even more trainers to participate in this event, Niantic increased the radius by another 40 kilometers after a few days.
