In Tokyo, there is a new mecca for fans of the MMO Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
The Final Fantasy franchise thrives on its recognizability, its focus on aesthetics, and a distinctive style. Many fans drawn to the MMO now have played the earlier installments of Final Fantasy in their childhood. The game and the franchise are so immensely popular in Japan that it was not such an outlandish thought to try it with a “theme” café. The Eorzea Café opened yesterday on July 31 in Tokyo and impresses with its attention to detail. While the Hard Rock Café showcases memorabilia from rockers or stars on the walls, here you find Moogles, swords, shields, and other artifacts.
The dishes also come with a nice Final Fantasy touch. And for those who can only think about gaming while eating: Of course, there are PCs with internet access in the Eorzea Café. Installed is – of course – Final Fantasy XIV.
