The hardcore online shooter Escape from Tarkov is still in beta. Now a wipe is approaching and players can buy all equipment at low prices beforehand to try it out.
During a beta, it is often not easy to play far enough to test the endgame well. Therefore, Escape from Tarkov makes it a bit easier for players before the next wipe.
Gear test before the next wipe
How Tarkov fans can test endgame equipment: Those who play the beta of the online shooter Escape from Tarkov know that wipes occur regularly, making it problematic to test good gear.
Usually, when a new update is about to be released, the developers reset everything and players start over. The developers are now drastically reducing the prices for all equipment in the game. The M4 rifle now costs only 8 dollars instead of 750 dollars – in-game currency, of course.
The items are now available in unlimited quantities. This allows almost every player to try out all the equipment before the wipe. This way, even those who cannot play excessively get a feel for the endgame.
When will the wipe take place? The developers have not yet provided a date for the wipe or the upcoming update. Players of Escape from Tarkov currently estimate that it could happen in about a week.
Players are excited
This is how the equipment test is received: Tarkov fans are thrilled to finally be able to try out the more expensive weapons. They hope to get a better feel for the endgame to provide better feedback to the developers.
