The two TV hosts Joko and Klaas are playing Battle Royale Fortnite in their show “Joko und Klaas gegen ProSieben” tonight, September 22nd. It might hurt for real gamers to watch, as they make the supposedly easy task unnecessarily complicated.
What happens tonight? Starting at 8:15 PM, Joko and Klaas will compete against their broadcaster ProSieben again. There will also be a game centered around Fortnite. They need to make it into the top 20 as a duo and have exactly 2 hours to do so. If they succeed, the task will be considered completed.
There is already a first preview of the task, and it makes the gamer heart bleed. Joko and Klaas seem to be bloody beginners and are likely making every mistake they can.
Even bots dismantle the two TV giants

How are Joko and Klaas performing? Even before the start, every gamer feels a shiver down their spine. When it comes to controls, Joko mentions the “AWSD” control scheme. Generally, it quickly becomes clear that they have no idea about gaming at all – a funny, but painful experience for every gamer.
In the first rounds, they are directly eliminated by opponents. What they don’t know, but is obvious to every Fortnite player: They are losing against bots, which are computer-controlled opponents.
These bots are actually really weak and usually miss their shots. They are meant to be a friendly introduction for players, so they don’t have to face really strong opponents right at the start.
At least Joko repeatedly comes up short against the bots in the clip. He doesn’t take cover and often misses his shots. In one attempt, he even tries to attack the bot with his pickaxe while it is shooting at him with a weapon.
How could it be done better? You don’t have to be a gaming expert to know how to handle such tasks better. Instead of engaging with opponents, it’s better to play passively and hide in houses or bushes.
If you don’t have a firearm yourself, you should rather flee from opponents than attack them.
Joko and Klaas are also struggling with controls, making everything even harder. So at least here, every gamer should have a clear advantage over the two TV giants.
Viewers notice: Already in the comments under the YouTube video, there are some comments suggesting similar things. User _ApfelkuchenLP_ writes, for example: “Just camp in a bush and it will be over.”
Is the task really that tricky? Anyone who has never played video games might find this challenging. After all, the controls are already a problem.
However, if one has experience in gaming and has not necessarily played Fortnite, they should handle this task easily.
