Tonight, the second DLC for Destiny 2, “Warmind”, will be released. If you can’t join in, you can watch the events via livestream.
Tonight, on May 8th, the Warmind DLC for Destiny 2 will be released. After the maintenance work, players are expected to return to Mars around 8 PM to uncover the secrets surrounding Ana Bray and the Warmind Rasputin.
If you can’t be there directly at the launch of “Warmind”, you can also follow the new content via livestream. Nexxoss Gaming is preparing for the new DLC from 7 PM and will take you to the red planet as soon as the servers are online again. We embed his Twitch stream here:
Maintenance Before “Warmind”
Before the release of the new DLC, however, maintenance work on the Destiny 2 servers is scheduled.
How long will the servers be down? The maintenance begins today around 3 PM. Players will not be able to log into Destiny 2 from then on. The work is expected to end around 8 PM.
Is there a preload? The Warmind DLC and update 1.2.0 should be available from 4 PM today for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. As soon as the servers are available again, hotfix 1.2.0.1 for Destiny 2 will also need to be downloaded.
What is the size of the update? The size of today’s update varies across the three platforms.
- For PC, the update is about 7 gigabytes
- On Xbox One, you should free up around 7.5 gigabytes
- PS4 requires just over 6.5 gigabytes of free storage space for the update
