Hints for Charmander have now emerged on the Japanese event page for the Community Day in Pokémon GO. What is it about?
Trainers, Charmander might appear as a special Pokémon at the Community Day event in May. The community has now found this hint on the Japanese event website.
Before the German and English websites present this information as well, we do not consider it a fact yet. This is still a sort of leak and should be taken with caution.
Leaks and support tickets claim that Charmander is being chosen
If you visit the Japanese Community Day website, everything looks normal at first. The image still shows Mareep and it seems like everything is still on the stance from the Community Day in April. However, trainers have translated the text below the image and have come to the following conclusion:
“If you evolve ‘Lizard’ into ‘Rizhaudon’ on Saturday, May 19, from 12:00 to 15:00, Rizhaudon can learn a special move.”
According to Japanese time, the Pokémon GO Community Day in May is supposed to take place on Saturday, May 19, from 12:00 to 15:00. Allegedly, Charmander is supposed to be the special monster of this event.
This is not a confirmation yet!
The community warns that this leak is not yet a confirmation for a Charmander event. This text has not been found on any other Community Day page, but only on the Japanese version under the image of Mareep.
Yesterday, there were already “leaks” claiming to confirm Charmander as a fixed Pokémon for the Com Day. A support ticket was shown that could not be officially verified. Therefore, the information stands on thin ice.
We suspect that Niantic will officially announce which monster we can expect at the Community Day in May in all languages during the course of today (Tuesday, April 17). Until then, we consider this information unconfirmed.
In our poll on which monster you wish for the Community Day, Charmander is currently in 2nd place
