Start and recruit Smiley mission
This is the preparation: During the story, you have different options to start the mission to find Smiley. One of the easiest methods is to go to the Pantagruel Slums and talk to Maman about Mollie’s kidnapping according to Altchar.com.
You should then search the buildings. After that, you find out that Mollie was not kidnapped. Next, you should talk to the priest in Fleatow La Bou, but wait for that.
First, go to Blaubert’s Mansion and accept the quest to rescue Luigi. Then return to the villa and say you want to support Blaubert. Only intervene in the fight if Blaubert is in danger. Otherwise, you should make sure that many of his guards die.
After that, go to Fleatown La Bou and speak with the priest. Tell him that you know he is hiding Smiley. After that, you can talk to him in a room and a fight begins.
This is how you recruit Smiley: After this fight, Smiley will leave the scene; he wants to confront Blaubert at his house. There, a difficult fight begins, where it is advantageous that many of Blaubert’s guards died in the first fight.
Be sure to take out the opponents who are targeting Smiley in the fight. Because he stands quite defenseless in the melee.
If you succeed in the fight, Smiley can join your team. While he has good stats as a sniper and in terms of strength, his agility is pretty bad. This makes it difficult to rely on him in battle.
