For FIFA 20, many ratings of the new FUT cards are now known, including that of Dortmund star Jadon Sancho. However, he is anything but satisfied with his new card.
Currently, numerous cards along with ratings for FIFA 20 are being revealed. There are many players who have improved, and also some who received worse cards than in FIFA 19. Jadon Sancho is among the first mentioned. Nevertheless, he is not satisfied with his new card.
What happened: Jadon Sancho has spoken out on Twitter. The reason: He is unhappy with the passing stat of his new FUT 20 card. He posts a picture of his card and writes: “77 Passing?!”
This is how EA Sports reacts to the criticism: He promptly receives a response from EA Sports: “Why pass when you have 90 in dribbling?”
In response, the winger from Borussia Dortmund says: “I think both could be 90, that’s a bit harsh”.
It seems Sancho doesn’t really like his passing stat.
This is Sancho’s new card: Despite the passing stat of 77, Sancho’s card makes a strong impression. After all, the speed and dribbling attributes are at a top level. Only passing and shooting actually leave something to be desired, but there are still TOTW cards, winter upgrades, and other special cards that Sancho can receive throughout the FIFA season.
If Sancho continues to play as strongly as he did in the last Bundesliga season, then he should quickly receive new cards with stronger stats from EA. He holds it in his own hands, or rather on his foot.
Additionally, it’s not just the card stats that indicate how good a card really is. It’s about the detailed in-game stats of the player. And these are not yet known.
If Sancho receives 5-star skills and perhaps an upgrade to 4-star for the weak foot like in FIFA 19, the card should be very interesting for many Bundesliga teams, especially at the beginning.
Jadon Sancho is indeed fast, but you can find the fastest players in FIFA 20 here.
Sancho is a 5-star skiller in FIFA 20.
A huge jump compared to FIFA 19, says BVB
This is what Borussia Dortmund says: In contrast to Jadon Sancho himself, his employer is pleased about the significant jump of 12 points compared to FIFA 19. Proudly, BVB posts a picture that compares the cards of FIFA 19 and FIFA 20.
This is how strong Sancho was in FIFA 19: In the last FIFA installment, the previously rather unknown Englishman started with a 72 silver card. This was quite unremarkable and probably hardly interested anyone at the start of FIFA 19.
Later, Sancho received numerous special cards that honored his top performances in the Bundesliga. This includes a POTM- and a TOTS card.
