Leaks about Genshin Impact have almost become a daily occurrence. The latest leaked info may reveal that update 1.6 is likely to bring skins for some characters. MeinMMO shows you which skins are expected to come and what other info is known.
What is this leak about? The information comes from the Twitter account Project Celestia, which has previously published numerous accurate leaks. (via Twitter)
Currently, there are only skins for the characters’ gliders. This is likely to change with the upcoming major update.
Recently, Project Celestia shared an image of a skin for Jean, the Grandmaster of the Knights. The outfit is called “Sea Breeze Dandelion” and shows Jean in a summer bathing outfit. Normally, she wears a knight’s dress with a cloak.

Project Celestia, however, points out in the Twitter post that things may still change before the release of patch 1.6. There is still a possibility that the skins will not be part of the update.
Why is this so interesting? The characters are the most important feature in Genshin Impact for many players. There are numerous of them, each with their own traits, backstory, and unique style.
Apart from battles, players also spend a lot of time with their characters in other ways. Since update 1.4, it has been possible, for example, to go on dates with some of them.
It is still unclear how the skins will be unlocked
How to get the skins? At least for Barbara’s skin, it is known a bit more about how it will likely be unlocked. It is mentioned that there will be a quest that must be completed. This quest will likely be released with the update.
For Jean, it is still unknown how to get the skin. Under the Twitter post, players are concerned that the remaining skins can only be purchased with real money. Khaleed writes: “Don’t tell me I have to buy all these outfits or something similar… and that I can’t win them.” (via Twitter)
So it remains to be seen in what way these skins can be unlocked. Since Genshin Impact has a gacha system, it is likely that the skins will hardly be available without real money and will probably be available for a limited time.

There are currently numerous leaks and rumors related to update 1.6. It is rumored that the next big update will provide the Traveler with a new element.
When is update 1.6 expected to be released? The current release time is considered likely to be around the end of May or early June. Developer miHoYo plans to deliver updates every 6 weeks, with update 1.5 being released on April 28. This timeframe should fit.
Part of the update will likely be the new area Inazuma, which was actually expected for update 1.5. Although this patch brought a housing system and new characters, Inazuma was not included. Therefore, it is now considered likely that the new area will find its way to Genshin Impact with the upcoming update.
