A leak promises to already know the next hero of Heroes of the Storm. The first image looks extremely promising.
Although a few weeks ago there was the sad news that the development team of Heroes of the Storm is shrinking, players have so far noticed little of the effects. Now, even a new image has appeared, showing a possible leak for the next hero in HotS. And this is none other than Anduin Llane Wrynn.
Who is Anduin Wrynn? Anduin Wrynn comes from the Warcraft universe and is the current High King of the Alliance. Unlike his father, who is more of a warrior, Anduin embodies more of the strengths of a priest, although he does pick up his father’s sword himself in “Battle for Azeroth”.
What kind of hero will Anduin be? It is not yet known what class Anduin will have in Heroes of the Storm. It is certainly possible for Anduin to fulfill the role of a supporter, after all, he is at heart a priest. However, since he is also capable of dealing damage, the role of a “melee mage” (assassin) could also be conceivable for him. It seems rather unlikely for him to take on the role of a tank, as that simply does not fit his stature.
“Neo Stormwind” as a new event? The leaked skin of Anduin is certainly not his standard skin, but supposedly the “Neo Stormwind President Anduin” skin and looks as if it comes from a sci-fi world. Fans suspect that there could possibly be a corresponding event that brings a few other futuristic skins into the game.
Please keep in mind that this leak could also be an elaborate fake. At least at first glance, what is shown looks convincing and coherent.
