In Destiny 2, new Exotics have been revealed. Among them is a rocket launcher reminiscent of a “Void Gjallarhorn.”
Where were the Exotics discovered? Bungie provided juicy information about Shadowkeep at the gamescom kick-off 2019, where crafty Guardians spotted new Exotics in the showcased footage.
Both in a gameplay trailer for Destiny 2 Shadowkeep and during a presentation of Finishing Moves , exotic weapons and armor pieces were hidden.
Void Rocket Launcher reminiscent of Gjallarhorn
This is the rocket launcher: In the gameplay trailer, this rocket launcher can be seen, which is almost certainly exotic given its design and perks:
The special thing about this rocket launcher is that it fires a Void rocket that splits into multiple Void tracking rockets upon impact. These projectiles are somewhat reminiscent of the Nova Bomb of Warlocks or the projectiles of Screebs:
What the tracking rockets also remind one of: The Gjallarhorn from Destiny 1. It was once an overpowered exotic rocket launcher that also released tracking cluster rockets upon impact – the so-called pack missiles.
Therefore, some Guardians are already talking about a “Void Gjallarhorn,” as for example the YouTuber xHOUNDISHx. Although this exotic doesn’t resemble the Gjallarhorn much in external design, its functionality appears similar.
More Exotics in Shadowkeep
Monte Carlo: The Monte Carlo was an exotic auto rifle in Destiny 1. In the new footage, it was directly spotted twice:
Here you see the Monte Carlo as an icon in the primary weapon inventory:
This image also shows the icon of a new exotic Hunter helmet.
This is the Hunter Exotic: This helmet is called “Assassin’s Cowl” and is prominently displayed in the following screenshot:
The exotic perk grants you invisibility and restores some health and shield when you defeat a Guardian with a melee attack or take down an enemy with a Finishing Move.
New Titan Exotic: For the Titan, an exotic leg armor called “Phoenix Cradle” has been revealed:
The exotic perk is not fully readable in this screenshot. However, the Exotic has to do with a longer-lasting Sun Warrior bonus and sunspots. Allies also benefit when they run through the spots – it is an Exotic for Solar Titans.
