Now there are sightings of mysterious shadows above the dam. Speculations are rampant, but the explanation behind it seems quite simple.
What’s behind the shadows?
What has been spotted: On Reddit, there are numerous videos about these sightings. We are embedding one of them here:
Indeed, shadows can be seen “moving around” on the ice surface. It looks like something like a submarine is just under the ice, creating these shadows.
Players’ speculations also lean towards a submarine. After all, Modern Warfare and Warzone are not known for any fictional creatures – a lake monster or something similar seems unlikely.
What could be behind it? The YouTube channel “Modern Warzone” has investigated this phenomenon and claims that it is not as mysterious as many players think.
They suspect that clouds are casting such a shadow. There are several hints for this:
- The shadows in the lake also cross over rocks and mountains – a submarine would not be able to do that
- In the sea, at the very edge of the map, such shadows can also be seen
- A submarine in such a small lake would not really make sense
So what is coming towards us? The many speculations show that players are eager for possible Easter eggs and want to learn more about the dam. However, the shadows themselves probably provide no answers.
However, there are further hints for a new map. A cutscene shows that a new map could be created in Urzikstan.
