The CoD Warzone is set in the 80s with Verdansk `84. So why not add a few legendary action icons from this decade as playable operators? According to a mysterious post from the developers, hints are intensifying regarding none other than the legendary lone wolf Rambo!
What is the hint? On Twitter, player achievements have been shared for some time under the hashtag #WarzoneReport. Recently, a post from the developers appeared asking: “Does anyone know SURVIVORJOHN#1009062? His #WarzoneReport is impressive!”
And indeed, the report was a sight to behold. SURVIVORJOHN#1009062 had:
- 552 Kills
- 0 Deaths
- an infinite KD ratio
- 7 hours played
- 5 games played and won 5 times
So who is this devilish character with the rather strange statistics? Why would the developers post something like this? Could there be more to it?
These are the Rambo hints
What about the post? The information in the post makes sense especially when read in the context of Rambo:
- John is Rambo’s first name
- He supposedly took out 552 people in his films
- There are 5 Rambo movies where he always survives and “wins”
Considering that in the last Halloween event, known horror figures from movies appeared in Warzone, it’s not entirely unlikely that we will indeed get John Rambo as an operator in Warzone. This would also mean that even more cool 80s action icons could come, including characters from Arnold Schwarzenegger or Chuck Norris. It will be interesting to see what the future holds.
