Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is the big shooter release of 2024. But is the game worth it for you?
What is Black Ops 6 anyway? Black Ops 6 is the latest installment of the popular “Call of Duty” series. The shooter is primarily developed by Treyarch and will be released on October 25, 2024.
CoD Black Ops 6 will feature a campaign, a multiplayer, and a turn-based zombie mode. In multiplayer, you can play 14 different arena modes such as “Team Deathmatch” and “Domination”.

Who is Black Ops 6 worth it for?
CoD Black Ops 6 is mainly worth it for you if you plan to play the multiplayer or zombie mode in the long term. If you lose interest in CoD after 2-3 months because SBMM or your opponents annoy you, then it’s probably less worth it.
The campaign of the shooter might be fun for you, but they are usually comparatively short and not comparable to the narrative depth of Baldur’s Gate 3 or Cyberpunk 2077. In CoD, the focus is more on experiencing a few hours of action quickly.
Also, you should be aware that Black Ops 6 could become a fast and chaotic gaming experience, especially if you no longer have the best reflexes and can’t keep up with the movement of younger players; it’s possible that the gameplay may feel too hectic for you. The new Omni-Movement also makes this “worse”.
However, if you enjoy this fast gameplay and like to maximize your movement capabilities, then it’s worth checking out Black Ops 6.
