What kind of hole is this? It is a hole in Limgrave, located southeast of the Graveyard of the Shipwrecked. The hole is guarded by enemy bats but can easily be overlooked in the heat of battle or during a hasty escape.

What did the fight look like? Reddit user Gabriel96c released a clip of his fight. He invaded the world of three players and wanted to defeat them, but they were more powerful. Gabriel had to flee. Chased by two swordsmen and a sorcerer, the intruder tried to escape to avoid being annihilated, but things looked bad for him.
He staggered south with little health and remembered that there was a deep hole nearby, which would kill anyone who stepped into it. He marched towards the hole and jumped over it while his opponents fell blindly into the abyss.
