What is this thing? On March 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare introduced a new item for players. The so-called “Tomogunchi” is obviously a kind of Tamagotchi. The toys were a hit in the 90s. They were small, digital pets for those who liked them or couldn’t have other pets.
In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the Tomogunchi comes as a wristwatch produced by the fictional company Rothwynn Industries. Even before release, CoD:MW announced these gadgets.
How to raise the Tomogunchi
How does it work? First, equip the watch in your Gear. For this, go to your Loadout options, then to the weapons and then choose in the watch customization of the Tomogunchi.
At the beginning of your match, the animation on the watch starts with an egg. There you will see something trying to hatch. After some time, the cute baby Tomogunchi hatches. If you keep it alive, it grows into a child, a teenager, and even an adult creature.
To check on how the little digital creature is doing, you can view the watch using the D-Pad up or the up arrow. The different emotion symbols show how it is feeling.
How to cheer it up: To keep the Tomogunchi alive, you should achieve kills, play objectives, get killstreaks, and wins. If you perform poorly, its mood decreases from happy to neutral, to sad, and eventually to the grave.
