Which insiders are involved? Anyone who has been following the news about Battlefield 6 should be familiar with the names Jeff Grubb and Tom Henderson. Both are considered industry insiders and have previously provided accurate information about Battlefield 6. Now, both have commented on when the next major installment after Battlefield 5 is finally expected to be officially revealed.
This is the timeframe: In a live stream on YouTube, Jeff Grubb responded to a fan’s question, stating that the presentation of Battlefield 6 is expected to take place in May. He indicates that nothing is final yet. However, his statement is supported by Tom Henderson on Twitter, who even gets more specific. He believes Battlefield 6 will be presented on May 7:

Why is it supposed to be May? Unfortunately, Henderson does not provide any further information beyond his tweet. Grubb also does not mention specific names or information for his sources, which is typical for industry insiders.
He at least provides an assessment. It is likely that the next Battlefield will be presented before the E3 period. Since the fair usually starts in June, only April and May remain.
This also fits with EA’s official statements that the next Battlefield is expected to be presented in spring 2021.
When is the next Battlefield supposed to be released? According to publisher Electronic Arts, they are on schedule and want to release Battlefield 6 for Christmas 2021.
