With patch 8.0.1, legendary items are raining down in World of Warcraft. You can get several Legendaries every day! Upon logging in, you receive 1000 essences for free in a Mythic+ chest – enough for a “Free-Legendary.”
Patch 8.0.1 of World of Warcraft has ushered in the era of Battle for Azeroth and has been active on European servers since this morning (07/18/2018). Alongside all the many changes we already discussed in this article, there is especially good news for collectors of legendary items. From now on, there are many more sources of Awakened Essences, which players can use to purchase legendary items. In other words: It’s raining Legendaries!
From which sources can you now get Awakened Essences? With patch 8.0, essences are available in large quantities from many new sources. Most of them can even be tackled solo.
- World Quests: 5 – 35 Awakened Essences
- Class Hall Missions: 10 – 20 Awakened Essences
- “Elite Strike” Class Hall Missions: 250 Awakened Essences
- Weekly Mythic+ Chest: 250 Awakened Essences
Thus, you can easily gather 1000 or more essences per day.
A Legendary is practically free
Moreover, all characters at level 110 receive a special “Mythic+” reward chest once, which immediately contains 1000 Awakened Essences – enough to immediately purchase a Legendary of your choice!
How much do legendary items cost? Legendary items still cost 1000 Awakened Essences. However, since patch 8.0.1, players can purchase legendary items deliberately according to their wishes. It is no longer necessary to wait for the random right drop, but everyone gets the item they would like.
Those who wish can prepare their characters for the start of Battle for Azeroth. The legendary items will play an important role during the leveling phase, as their bonus effects will be disabled at level 116.
