In World of Warcraft Shadowlands two events overlap today. You can use this opportunity to earn gold easily.
What’s happening? In World of Warcraft, the “Pet Battle Bonus Week” is currently taking place. Until Wednesday, there is +200% additional experience for pets in pet battles. Leveling pets goes quite fast, and the 25 levels are quickly reached under normal conditions.
At the same time, a special NPC named “Squirt” is available in the garrison. You can challenge her to a pet battle, and she rewards victorious pets with experience points.
This allows pets to be leveled from 1 to 25 in just a few minutes – it only takes 2 fights.
How does it work? As with most leveling strategies for pet battles, you need two strong carry pets. These will handle the fight pretty much alone while a third pet soaks up all the experience points. The fight against Squirt is quite predictable, making it easy to find the perfect strategy.

Why can you make gold with this? Collecting pets is extremely popular in the World of Warcraft community. However, leveling them is less so. Many players are thus willing to pay more gold right at the time of purchase to buy a pet directly at level 25.
You can take advantage of exactly that. The price difference between a pet at level 1 and the same pet at level 25 ranges from 2,500 to 10,000 gold, depending on the realm.
Since it only takes you about 5 minutes to get a pet to level 25, you can potentially earn several tens of thousands of gold per hour if you find buyers for the pets.
Anyone looking to earn gold “safely” can also offer in the trade channel to level another player’s pets for gold. Since most pets can be exchanged in cages, you should receive the buyer’s pets, level them for a while, and then return them for the agreed amount.
However, be honest in this: Keeping the pets in a different agreement would constitute fraud and can be sanctioned in WoW.
Why is this only happening now? Both the bonus week for pets and the appearance of Squirt are on a fixed rotation. That both events overlap is not guaranteed. Therefore, today’s “Super Squirt Day” only occurs a few times a year. For pet battle players, this is always a “big day” when the entire pet collection is brought up to date.
You definitely won’t find a better time to level your pets – even if you don’t want to sell them.
