In World of Warcraft, the Valentine’s event has started again. Time to farm one of the rarest and most sought-after mounts.
Even though the community around World of Warcraft is a bit excited right now, as Cross-Faction Play is coming soon, love is also in the air. The annual Valentine’s event has started and offers one of the rarest mounts that WoW has to offer. The former “Pink Love Rocket,” which now goes by the name “Heartbreaker X-45.”
Why does the mount have a different name now? The infamous “Pink Love Rocket” has been renamed to “Heartbreaker X-45” since the last patch. The renaming took place as part of greater efforts to eliminate some offensive remarks and double entendres from World of Warcraft. These changes brought both criticism and support and now result in the new name of the rocket.
How to farm the mount? Basically, you only need a few minutes per character – tanks and healers can do it almost without any time investment, pure damage dealers may have to wait a few minutes. Just sign up through the dungeon browser for the current event “Chemist Crown” (“The Crown Chemical Co.”). Once 4 players are found, it will lead to a visit in Shadowfang Keep with a single boss fight.
Characters above level 50 receive the epic box “Heart-Shaped Box” at the end, which has a very low chance of containing the coveted Heartbreaker X-45. You can defeat the boss once per day to receive the box.
This applies per character. You can complete the fight in Shadowfang Keep with any character who has reached at least level 50, giving you a chance to obtain the rocket. The more high-level characters you have, the more chances you will also have to get this coveted mount.
How long do you have? However, you should start farming sooner rather than later, as the event only lasts exactly 2 weeks, from February 7 to February 20. After that, the event will be inactive for another year, and the chance to get the rocket will only return in February 2023.
