Worgen players in World of Warcraft can rejoice. They will soon experience entirely new customization options and will look quite pretty.
Worgen players have always faced a significant problem in World of Warcraft, starting right at character creation. You click through the character creation for minutes to create the perfect werewolf and then click ‘Finish’ satisfied – only to realize that the human form of the character looks really bad. With the upcoming expansion Shadowlands, that will finally come to an end.
What is the problem? Until now, Worgen in WoW have had limited character options. The settings you choose for the Worgen form also affect the human form – but not always advantageously. So it can happen that you create a cool, youthful-looking Worgen, only to find that the human form looks like an old man. Until now, you had to decide: Does the human form or the worgen form look cool?
What will change? With Shadowlands, Worgen can make two different sets of settings during character creation that are completely separate from each other. This will allow players to create the human form and then also customize the Worgen form in detail.
Can this be done afterwards? Yes. All Worgen players can simply go to the barber in Shadowlands and get adjusted later. Here, too, one can freely choose between Worgen and human form and make individual adjustments.
This should put an end to the times when Worgen players hid their human side out of shame. Especially for role players, this should be a sensible extension.
