Since patch 10.0.5, the Mage Tower from Legion is playable again in World of Warcraft in a stronger version for Dragonflight. Each class is presented with tough challenges that in turn yield pretty cosmetic rewards. Only the new callers are not allowed to participate.
What is the Mage Tower? Originally, this feature comes from the expansion Legion and was introduced with patch 7.2 in March 2017. There are a total of 7 challenges here, which vary depending on class and specialization.
Most challenges are considered particularly tricky and can only be mastered with a good understanding of class mechanics or skillful use of various mechanics. The feature was so popular that it returned multiple times even after Legion, most recently in 2022 in ‘permanent’ form.
However, the Mage Tower was removed shortly before the release of Dragonflight. Since patch 10.0.5, the feature is back and has been adapted for the new talents and gear of Dragonflight to remain challenging.

What rewards are there? Originally, you could earn new colors for artifact weapon skins in the Mage Tower. However, to keep them exclusive, there are now different rewards.
For completing the challenges, you will receive transmogrification sets in the Legion style and even a mount, the magically-bound spell tome. However, to obtain the flying book, you must complete all 7 challenges.
To do this, you already need to play more than one class because you usually only get 3 different challenges per class. But if you play a caller, you have even more work ahead of you.

No rewards for callers
The new class from Dragonflight does not get any tasks in the Mage Tower. Normally, War Councilor Victoria invites you to the Mage Tower at the Broken Coast. However, she tells callers that she currently has no tasks for them.
This makes sense since callers were not playable in Legion and thus no challenges could be made for them. Additionally, callers can hardly wear transmogrification gear, as almost everything is done through the extensive customizations of the Dracthyr.

How reasonable it is for callers to even visit the Mage Tower is debatable. Whether or when the Mage Tower will also be accessible to callers is still unknown.
However, some boosting sites already offer “caller Mage Tower runs” for real money. While that is generally prohibited, in this case, it is clearly a rip-off, as the runs do not exist at all. So definitely stay away from such offers.
