What kind of reward is this? It has become tradition in WoW that you are rewarded with mounts for certain achievement formats. Anyone who remembers previous expansions will surely recall one or another mount that had to be earned through achievements. This continues in Dragonflight.
For successfully completing selected achievements in instances at a certain difficulty, you will receive Shellack, which translates to: “Panzerklatscher” in German.

This is known: As wowhead reports, the first images of the mount Shellack have been found in the latest beta build of WoW Dragonflight. Dataminers regularly scour the new game patches for changed content.
This is how it looks: Shellack is a lava snail complete with a saddle and harness. The shell appears spiky, robust, and glows red/orange from the inside. The chain harness leads from the saddle to a kind of helmet that the snail wears on its head. Two slender feelers extend through two holes in the helmet, moving independently of each other.
How to unlock Shellack
This is the achievement: Shellack is linked to the achievement “Glory of the Dragonflight Hero.” This is an account-wide achievement. You are required to complete 25 achievements in dungeons on the Mythic difficulty. You can view the Glory of the Dragonflight Hero achievement and its requirements on wowhead.
This type of achievement, linked to the mythic difficulty, has existed since Legion. Even in earlier addons, you were rewarded with mounts for completing dungeon-specific achievements.
