In WoW: Classic the paid server transfer is now available. Those who wish to escape their realm can now do so.
Since the launch of PvP content in World of Warcraft Classic, some realms have changed drastically. In many places, players are being ganked and harassed, and PvP is everywhere. This has led to an imbalance of power on some realms, and some servers, such as Flamelash, are almost entirely one-sided – there is hardly any Alliance left. Those who are stuck on such a realm or simply want to switch to a friend can now do so – the paid character transfer is now available in WoW: Classic.
Some people have only come to love modern WoW through Classic.
What does the character transfer cost? Transferring a character costs 25€ and is quite expensive – this is roughly the price of 2 months of playtime. Additionally, there are a number of restrictions on the transfer, so players should carefully consider this decision.
What restrictions are there? To prevent players from transferring “back and forth” wildly to exploit current conditions on certain realms, there are a number of restrictions:
- A character can only be transferred once every 90 days.
- Characters cannot switch from a PvE realm to a PvP realm (the same applies for RP and RP-PvP) – the reverse is possible.
- Characters may only have a certain limit of gold, as follows:
- Level 1-30: 100 gold
- Level 31-50: 500 gold
- Level 51-60: 2,000 gold
Where can one find the character transfer? You can find the option directly in the character selection of World of Warcraft when you are logged into your respective realm. There, you can select the “Shop” menu item and then access the new service.
Will you use the character transfer? Or will you stay loyal to your realm, no matter what happens?
