Neverwinter Online
The Elves in Neverwinter match the pointy-eared beings known from the underlying D&D setting. There, Elves are small, nature-loving beings with great magical powers and a fondness for the beauty of nature.
Originally, the Elves emerged from the Feywild realm and have now stranded in the real world due to various entanglements involving the Dark Elves. In Neverwinter, Elves are a long-lived race that has been influencing the fate of the world for millennia.
What Elves are there in Neverwinter?
In Neverwinter, you can play four different types of Elves.
Wood Elves: These classic Elves live in forests and love the beauty and peace there. Therefore, they zealously protect their home. Wood Elves are legendary archers and rangers. They see themselves as keepers of ancient secrets and tend to be friendly and open-minded.

Moon Elves: The Silver Elves are a race of pale Elves with silver hair. They care less about religion or nature. Instead, they are very curious and love music and travel. They are the most tolerant of all Elves toward other races and love diversity.

Sun Elves: The archetype of the arrogant Elf who despises all other races is present in Neverwinter as well. In this case, these are the Sun or Gold Elves. They have blonde hair and see themselves as superior, even over other Elves. Sun Elves are conservative, tradition-oriented, and engaged in religion and magic.

Dark Elves: The Drow are a cruel race of underground-dwelling Elves who are even smaller than their counterparts on the surface. Drow are infused with the magic of the Underdark and are considered exceptionally good assassins. They follow the dark goddess Lolth and live in their city Menzoberranzan in a matriarchal theocracy divided into various noble houses.

Half-Elves: Half-Elves are a mixture of human and elf. They share the appearance of both parents and are somewhat sturdier than Elves, with less pointed ears. Male Half-Elves even sport thin mustaches!
