Next week, on July 9, 2024, the new survival game Once Human will officially release on Steam. The game is known for its world filled with bizarre creatures. A new trailer now shows that not all of them are creepy and dangerous.
Once Human is a new survival game from the developer studio Starry Studio, launching on July 9, 2024 on Steam. After the survival flop of The Day Before, genre fans quickly took notice of Once Human, and it became almost a hope for many players.
- Once Human is a survival game with sandbox gameplay.
- Together with other players, you will try to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. There, an alien substance called Stardust transformed beings into monsters and gives them supernatural powers.
- There will be PvE and PvP battles against other groups.
A new trailer now shows that not all of the strange monsters and creatures are dangerous. Some can even be a great help to you.
What does the trailer show? A new trailer for the survival game highlights some of the strange creatures. These do not want to fight you but will assist you in various situations.
The creatures, called Deviation in English, appear in many different forms in the world of Once Human. One creature seems stranger than the other. Among them are walking mushrooms, humanoid llamas wearing sunglasses, small robots, giant nutcrackers, or paper figures. Also featured are large plush dragons and plush dinosaurs, or a cat as big as a horse.
Sweet creatures help you at home and on the battlefield
The trailer shows that the creatures help you in your base. Here, they gather materials or tend to your harvest. You can also have them cook and clean for you, cuddle with them, or throw a little dance party with them.
But these creatures also show their capabilities in battle. The trailer doesn’t reveal whether all of them are fighters, or if some just specialize in housework, but those seen in action are quite impressive.
Some of them are hardly visible as they dart through enemies, a plush dragon grills foes with mighty flames, and even a small robot seems to force its opponents to their knees with its ability.
