In the next patch, WoW gets strong weapons with crazy effects

The latest weapons in World of Warcraft are vicious. They have extremely powerful passive effects, but come with a disadvantage.

The next update of World of Warcraft, Patch 8.3 Visions of N’Zoth, is currently on the PTR. With each new version, more content and items are constantly being added. The last batch not only brought the pre-quest for the Vulpera but also a lot of cool weapons in the game files. These have unique effects that can be quite exciting.

What kind of weapons are these? The weapons can drop from various bosses in the new raid Ny’alotha. They all have a high level of corruption (+25) and therefore have negative attributes. However, the weapons also have powerful passive effects that set them apart from ordinary weapons. So far, there are:

Vorzz Yoq’al – Mace with Intelligence: Gain “Void Ritual,” which gives your abilities and spells a chance to increase all secondary stats by X for 20 seconds. This chance is increased if at least 2 allies nearby also possess Void Ritual.
Faralos, Empire’s Dream – One-handed sword with Strength: Your damage-dealing abilities grant you a stack of “Scorching Flames.” When you reach 30 stacks, you unleash a Scorching Breath that deals damage equal to 5% of your health to all targets in front of you.
Sk’shuul Vaz – Two-handed axe with Strength: You gain “Obsidian Skin,” which increases your armor by 5%. For every 100% of your maximum health that you lose, you explode in obsidian destruction, dealing shadow damage equal to 1000% of your armor to all targets within a 20-meter radius.
An’zig Vra – Staff with Agility: Your auto-attacks bite into the soul of your target, causing you to deal additional damage equal to 2% of your health and heal yourself for that amount.
Whispering Eldritch Bow – Bow: Your auto-attacks reduce the cooldown of a random Hunter ability by one second.
Mar’kowa, the Mindpiercer – One-handed axe with Intelligence: Unleashes the true potential of your mind by granting your spells mind strikes. Your intelligence is permanently increased by between 1% and 8%.
Eyestalk of Il’gynoth – Wand: Your spells and abilities have a chance to reveal the unspeakable truth, causing your cooldowns to finish 20% faster for 12 seconds.

Please note that these weapons are currently only available on the PTR. It is possible that they will be adjusted or completely changed before release. It is also likely that more weapons of this kind will be added.

When will these weapons be available? The weapons will only be available with the next patch. Patch 8.3 will not be released in 2019 but is expected to launch early in 2020 – presumably already in January.
