The MMORPG Black Desert Online (BDO) will receive a major update on June 25. This leads you to a tropical island where furry beings are at war.
What does the new update offer? The extensive update for the successful MMORPG Black Desert Online introduces the new island Papau Crinea, which was mentioned in the roadmap for the first half of 2020. The beautiful tropical paradise is not a place for vacation. A war is taking place here!
Who is fighting on the island? The two races Papu and Otter are in conflict. Why? You will find out. To do this, you visit the island and have to communicate with the two races to learn more about their history and the dispute.
How do you participate in the adventure? Before you can head to the island Papau Crinea, you need to join the Ramut gang. They will send you to the island, which is located in the ocean of Margoria. So you must take a ship there. However, this only works once you reach level 58.
This is exciting, as the great ocean adventure that started with the expansion “The Great Expedition” is now being expanded.
What is special about the update? In the context of the story, you decide whether to transform into an Otter or a Papu. Only then can you interact with the respective races, learn more about them, and complete the quests.
Once you finish the corresponding quest line, you will receive a transformation roll that you can use for one day. These rolls are essential if you want to survive your adventure on Papau Crinea.
Neither the Otters nor the Papu trust strangers. Only by transforming into one of the beings can you speak with them.
If you lose a transformation roll, you can purchase new ones from the NPCs Moanna Benns and Morio Benns of the Ramut gang for two coins.
The rolls give you the ability to transform into one of six species of Otters and Papus. Each species has its own talents, which will be displayed to you after the corresponding transformation in the lower right corner.
Decide on which side you want to stand: Otter or Papu. It is not possible to support both parties. Once you have decided on a group, you simultaneously spoil it with the other. Even a corresponding transformation will no longer help you.
When will the update be released? The new update is set to be implemented tonight, on June 25, at 7 PM, initially for the PC version of the MMORPG Black Desert. The versions for Xbox One and PS4 will follow later.
