Gloria Victis is an MMORPG that may not be on many radars, but is steadily and lovingly developed by the team. Now with a “Cooking” feature.

Everyone has to eat
Cook to avoid starving. The current update allows you to create food. This is essential because the hunger system can even lead to your hero starving. Eating is therefore essential. The system is based on points:
- You can have a maximum of 1,000 food points
- Every minute you move costs you 6 points
- Every minute you do not move costs you 2 points
- Four good meals fully regenerate your food points
- You receive buffs from food
- You can create 16 different meals, for which you also need to collect resources like fish
- If your hero is starving, they have 10 percent less HP and stamina
- If you are full, you gain 1 percent more HP and stamina, and an additional 5 percent per buff
- Food has different stages such as raw, cold, heated, fresh, or spoiled. Food that you do not eat spoils. Each status gives the food a different quality that regenerates more or fewer points
Farming system coming. A coming update will also introduce a farming system, where you will need to grow and harvest resources like wheat. This will also affect cooking and food.
There is still much to do
What is Gloria Victis? Gloria Victis is a medieval role-playing game that resembles Life is Feudal. Territory control and open PvP (with full loot) are at the forefront. The battles are active and do not involve targeting. You develop your hero based on skills without classes. Crafting is also important. You explore a huge, open game world with much to discover and participate in siege battles where guilds play a crucial role.
MMO is still unfinished and struggles with few players. Gloria Victis is currently still in an alpha phase, and that shows in the game. Testers report many bugs and a generally unfinished impression. This may also be one of the reasons why the early access version on Steam is not really taking off. On average, about 130 players are online at the same time according to Steamcharts.
