What kind of game is Hunt: Showdown? Hunt: Showdown is a first-person shooter in PvPvE mode, where you go monster hunting. However, you are not alone and must be careful that opposing hunters do not finish you off and steal your prey.
What is Hunt: Showdown about? The game takes place in 1895. The player takes on the role of a hunter – with the mission: eliminate monsters that inhabit the bayou of Louisiana.

What does the gameplay in Hunt: Showdown look like? In the “Bounty Hunt” mode, you initially search for clues that lead you to the monsters and bosses. But you are not alone – other hunters also want to make sure not to miss out on the prey.
Once you have successfully taken down a monster and collected the bounty, the real fight begins. Other hunters will try to take the reward from you. The motto of the game is: “Hunt together. Die alone.”
With the bounty, you must make it alive to an extraction point without getting killed by others on the way. However, if you get caught and eliminated by another player, you lose all your equipment and your hunter.
Throughout the game, you can continuously improve your “bloodline”, unlock new equipment, and collect gold and experience.
What does the multiplayer in Hunt: Showdown look like? The player can go bounty hunting either alone or in teams of up to 2 or 3 players. Up to 12 players can play on a map.
You will encounter opposing players who want to snatch the bounty from you. In the gameplay, PvE and PvP elements are connected.
In the “Quick Play” mode, you face off against other players alone and try to emerge as the last survivor from the match.

How much does Hunt: Showdown currently cost on Steam? On Steam, Hunt: Showdown costs €19.99 instead of €39.99, which is half price. Currently, all bundles for the game can also be had at a lower price. The discounts range from 45% to 48%.
You can also purchase the DLCs individually. Prices vary with the promotion between €5.19 and €8.99.
