In the Private Beta of The Division 2, there are initial difficulties. Numerous players are being excluded from the beta. However, there is no obvious reason for this.
What happened? The Private Beta of The Division 2 initially had a smooth start on all platforms. The servers held up, and no technical issues have been reported so far.
However, now an increasing number of PC players are reporting that they are being banned. No one understands the reason for the ban. The players are not aware of any wrongdoing.
How does the ban manifest? Players are no longer able to log into the beta. When attempting to sign in, a message appears saying “You have been banned”. Additionally, some players complain that it now states they do not own the game, even though they have purchased or pre-ordered it.
UPDATE 11:15 – What do the developers say? As reported by the Live Content Manager of The Division 2 on Reddit, the issue has apparently been resolved.
If anyone is still affected by the issue, they are encouraged to inform the developers on Reddit.
What is the cause of the problem? Players suspect there is a bug. Many, for example, can still log into The Division 1. Therefore, a real account ban is ruled out by most fans. Some fans believe the Anti-Cheat mechanism could be responsible for this.
The source or a specific version of the game does not seem to play a role. Uplay versions are just as affected as pre-orders through Amazon or other providers.
