In Starfield there are many different places to discover and explore. Now players have found a planet that may seem familiar to Halo fans.
Which planet is it about? In Starfield, you can find the planet “Reach”, but under a different name.
- Reach is the setting of the 2010 released Halo: Reach, in which you fight as Spartan “Noble 6” against the Covenant.
- Reach was in the history of Halo the largest colony and was inhabited by 700 million people.
- In Halo, humans began to colonize distant planets in the 26th century, but since Starfield is set in the 24th century, Reach is still uninhabited in Bethesda’s RPG.
Reach has a different name in Starfield
Where is Reach in Starfield? In Halo, Reach is considered the second planet of the “Epsilon Eridani System”. You can also find and visit the Eridani system in Starfield. There you will find a planet called “Eridani 2”, which is the second planet of the system.
Eridani 2 is accordingly the same planet as Reach – just with a different name.
To find the system on the star map, you need to go down and to the left from our solar system (Sol) or the neighboring and colonized “Alpha Centauri” system in the game.
Eridani is, just like Reach in Halo, a planet with moderate flora and fauna. Additionally, the water is clean and you can even breathe the planet’s air – perfect for establishing a colony with 700 million people there.
However, if you don’t want to populate the entire planet, Eridani 2 is at least suitable for building an outpost. In addition to breathable air and clean water, there are also some useful resources like iron, nickel, copper, and gold.
