Don’t feel like annoying teammates? In Remnant 2, you can devour your colleagues like a vampire – and will be rewarded with a powerful force.
In Remnant 2, there is plenty to discover, and not all rewards are obvious. After all, the game doesn’t explain everything, and many things are only experienced by exploring the world and engaging with what is happening on the screen. This is also the case with a “vampire ability” that you have during a special event. Not only is it quite funny, but it also comes with a really strong reward.
How do you become a vampire? To become a “vampire,” you need to be on Losomn. If you get lucky, you can start the event “The Feast” in the grand hall of Losomn. It begins when you lift the quest item “Ravenous Medallion” in front of the correct door. In that case, you will see a grand feast and can indulge in the food.
However, this will give you the debuff “Ravenous,” which slowly but surely reduces your health points while enemies swarm in from all sides. It’s a classic multi-wave battle.
The real secret of the event is a new interaction that is only possible while you have the debuff “Ravenous”:
Instead of helping your teammates as usual, the command is replaced by another phrase. Over your colleague, it briefly says “Eat me!” instead of the usual “Help” command. Those who don’t read quickly or just look at what happens will witness this incident:
You lift your colleague up, look into their eyes for a moment, and then bite into their neck to suck their blood, leaving them dead on the ground.
What does it bring? As a “reward” for this act, there is the trait “Glutton.” This is quite powerful; it increases the usage speed of your relics by a whopping 30%.
After all, all involved players unlock the trait, not just the killer. Even the freshly killed friend is rewarded with the new trait.
The only downside to this is that you must play in multiplayer to obtain this trait. Because it is only unlocked when you devour another player. It is not available in solo play and thus remains inaccessible to you.
