Gunfire Games’ surprise hit Remnant from the Ashes has been on the market for a few weeks now. Time for a new supply! This week, players can look forward to a long-awaited feature.
What new content will there be for Remnant? Remnant from the Ashes had a strong start, and fans are hungry for new content. Gunfire Games announced two new contents in a corresponding post. The Adventure Mode will be available this week, specifically on Thursday, September 12.
A week later, on Thursday, September 19, new content will finally arrive, the Leto Laboratories. This storyline takes you through the Alpha Research Station. You will follow the trails of Leto Apostolakis, who researched fast travel with the crystals.
The area will randomly appear on Earth, and you may have to reset the area occasionally until the new dungeon appears. It should be worth it, as there will be a new boss fight to contend with and new loot to obtain.
What exactly does the Adventure Mode do? The Adventure Mode works similarly to Diablo 3. Instead of resetting your entire story progression as before, you can “roll” individual worlds anew at the crystal in Station 13. This will work on Thursday for the worlds Earth, Rhom, and Yaesha. Corsus is expected to follow later.
Resetting a world has no effect on your story. Everything you find in Adventure Mode, you can keep. With the Adventure Mode, it should be easier to collect any missing quests or items, as you don’t always have to reset the entire story.
This is how you get the Heart of the Beast in Remnant from the Ashes.
What will the updates cost? The updates are free and available to any player who has purchased the main game.
Whether the developer will also fix some annoying bugs such as the missing communication option with the Seed Mother in multiplayer in the update is still unknown. The connection issues in public sessions are also frustrating many players. It’s to be hoped that some of the problems will be addressed soon.
What do you think of the new content? Are you looking forward to it?
