What kind of event is this? In a Tera Raid, you fight with three other players against a Teracristal Pokémon that is very strong and has a special Tera type. The current Tera Raid features Titan Charizard.
You must defeat the Teracristal Pokémon before the time runs out. You can recognize a Tera Raid by the black crystals that you can find in the Paldea region.
When does the event run? The Tera Raid with Titan Charizard is playable during two different time periods.
- December 2, 2022 / 01:00 AM to December 5, 2022 / 00:59 AM
- December 16, 2022 / 01:00 AM to December 19, 2022 / 00:59 AM
What bonuses are there? If you manage to defeat a Teracristal Pokémon in a Tera Raid, strong rewards await you. Additionally, you have the chance to catch the defeated Teracristal Pokémon. However, this is only possible once per save file.
Even if you have already caught Titan Charizard, you can still battle it in black Tera Raid crystals to receive additional rewards.
These rewards include XP candies L and XP candies XL as well as a “Dragon Tera shard” and other battle items. However, the rewards may vary between individual raids.
What is exciting about Titan Charizard? In the current Tera Raid, you encounter Titan Charizard. You cannot actually catch Charizard in the Paldea region, which gives you a unique opportunity with the Tera Raid. However, it is not ruled out that Charizard will appear again in future events.
Moreover, with the Tera Raid, the biggest wish of Charizard has been fulfilled, as Titan Charizard has the Tera type Dragon and can thus appear as a Dragon Pokémon for the first time.
