In Pokémon GO more focus will soon be placed on great AR images. Niantic is introducing the feature GO-Snapshot, which allows you to take better photos of your Pokémon.
What’s new: Pokémon GO is introducing a new photo feature! The GO-Snapshot feature allows you to take pictures of your monsters at any time. This also applies to your Pokémon that you have already caught. Until now, you could only take AR pictures when you were in the catching mode of a wild Pokémon.
We will explain how the new feature works and what improvements it brings.
How GO-Snapshot works
To photograph the Pokémon, you need to go to your Pokébox and select the desired Pokémon. After that, a camera icon will appear, which you can press.

Then your camera will appear, and you can throw a Pokéball. From it, your selected Pokémon will emerge, which you can then photograph as you like.
What are the advantages of the feature? Especially fans of AR images can now rejoice. You can now select a Pokémon in front of a cool location and photograph it at any time. Previously, you could only photograph the Pokémon that was currently being caught.
The search for a cool location for a photo was therefore restricted.

When will the feature be available? Niantic did not specify an exact time for the release of the new feature. GO-Snapshot should be coming soon, according to the announcement.
This could be related: In the latest update of Pokémon GO, a medal named “Photobomb” was also found, along with numerous text fragments about AR images. These new features could be directly related to the feature.

One might possibly earn something for every photo taken with the new medal. Perhaps an event revolving around such photos will also happen soon. We will have to wait and see what Niantic has planned.
What do you think of the new feature? Do you like taking AR pictures?
