In July, the next Community Day Classic starts in Pokémon GO. And it will not only be very long but also really big.
What kind of event is this? A Community Day in Pokémon GO is an event where at least one Pokémon is in the spotlight and appears in very high numbers within 3 hours, with increased shiny chances and other strong bonuses. The Community Day Classic brings back a Pokémon that has already had a Community Day in the past.

Which monster is the focus? In July, the Community Day Classic will revolve around Eevee, the popular monster from Generation 1. Eevee has a unique trait that makes it special in the world of Pokémon: It has a total of 8 evolutions.
What makes the event special? There are 2 major features that this Community Day Classic brings. On one hand, the event will run over 2 days instead of just one. It takes place on Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Additionally, during a Community Day Classic, there is always an increased chance of shiny Pokémon. And this is a strong bonus in connection with Eevee. If you catch enough Eevee in shiny form during the event, you can look forward to Eevee and each of its evolutions as shiny. If you do not own any of the monsters yet, you could snag a total of 9 shinies at the event for the first time.
What bonuses are there at the event? Moreover, the event brings you many bonuses. Here are the following:
- Eevee appears in high numbers and with increased shiny chances**
- Espeon and Umbreon can be evolved after you walk one kilometer with Eevee as your buddy**
- Sylveon can be evolved after you earn 7 hearts with Eevee as your buddy
- Lure modules and incense (except the daily adventure incense) last for 3 hours when activated during the event
- Field research and PokéStop showcases with event Pokémon
- Limited research with Eevee, with a special background
- Snapshot surprises with event Pokémon
**The requirements for the evolutions are reduced until July 12, 2025, at 10:00 PM.
What exclusive moves are there? Both Eevee and all of the little monster’s evolutions can learn an exclusive move during the event. For this, you have to catch Eevee or perform the corresponding evolution:
- Eevee: Charged Attack Last Resort
- Vaporeon: Charged Attack Scald
- Jolteon: Charged Attack Zap Cannon
- Flareon: Charged Attack Superpower
- Espeon: Charged Attack Shadow Ball
- Umbreon: Charged Attack Psychic
- Leafeon: Fast Attack Bullet Seed
- Glaceon: Charged Attack Water Pulse
- Sylveon: Charged Attack Psyshock
