Do you want to let loose and do all sorts of crazy stuff in a game? Then check out the sandbox action game MisBits – best played with friends and in a lively mood!
What is MisBits? MisBits is a “wild multiplayer” and an “action-driven sandbox for Warriors, Builders, and Creators.” The new game is developed by Pow Wow Entertainment.
The game principle is… one that you simply choose for yourself. You can fight together or against each other, explore worlds, or build creative levels and constructs to entertain or challenge other players.
In principle, everything is open to you. The platform serves you a colorful, crazy world with countless options. Check out all the madness for yourself in the trailer:
As seen in the trailer, MisBits draws some inspiration from games like Fortnite, Minecraft, Rocket League, and Kerbal Space Program and just throws them all together.
What the hell is all this?!
This is what features and gameplay look like: From the official description of MisBits on Steam, it is evident that you can play however you want. The phrase: “There are no rules – but break them anyway!” is characteristic of the entire game.
However, there are also some guidelines you can follow. MisBits offers game modes for three different types of players:
- “Warriors” can let loose in famous shooter modes like Deathmatch or King of the Hill. There are crazy weapons like giant cucumbers and a feature to take opponents’ heads. You can customize your character during the round if you want.
- “Builders” can build maps and levels as they please by accessing every in-game element. You have control over all features, can create challenges for the community or invent your own crazy game modes.
- “Creators” continuously produce new content from various combinations of bodies and heads, “taunts and celebrations” and are responsible for things like “arcade action experiences” – all that which Builders haven’t thought of yet.
MisBits also encourages you to closely inspect and explore your surroundings. Perhaps you will discover hidden mini-games or Easter eggs.
And how do you play it? MisBits can be played with 2-16 players, depending on the map and the mode played. Some features, like building tools, are also accessible to single players. The game modes mentioned so far include:
- Playhouse – A party mode where you roll into different rooms and complete mini-games.
- Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch – Classic fight to the death.
- Kick Brawl – A “Rocket League”-like mode.
- Arcade – Various constantly changing modes.
- ToyBox – The creative mode for building and creating new content.
You can find MisBits on Steam
When and where can I check it out? You can play MisBits on PC via Steam. The game is currently in closed beta and will start early access on March 5.
