The mobile MMO Lineage 2 Revolution will soon receive an update introducing a new race, the Orcs. And Batman is also involved. This sounds as strange as it is.
Orcs coming as a new race: The new update “Dawn of Destruction” will bring the Orcs as a new playable race. The greenskins (who can also be somewhat grayish) will then be the 5th race in the game after the already known Elves, Dark Elves, Dwarfs, and Humans. As expected in Lineage 2 Revolution, the Orcs are always male due to gender lock. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to play as muscle-packed Orc ladies.
What is special about the Orcs? Orcs are wild, large, and strong. They also have their own weapons for their respective classes:
- Claws
- Two-Handed Swords
- Small Staves
In addition, the Orcs start at level 180 with 500,000 Combat Power in their adventurer’s life. You won’t have to level them up painstakingly as twinks to higher levels. This is ideal for returning players, as they can immediately test the new race.
What’s included in the update
In addition to the Orcs, the update “Dawn of Destruction” will provide the following features:
- New Region: Avento
- Level cap raised to 320
- Class Transfers
- Cross-Server Dungeon Matchmaking
- The Tower of Insult will be expanded to 145 levels
- New Servers and server mergers
Batman for the anniversary
On November 15, 2017, Lineage 2 Revolution was released in the West for mobile devices with Android and iOS. For the first anniversary in Europe and North America, Lineage 2 Revolution developers Netmarble have a special collaboration with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment planned as a crossover.
This involves the DC Comics hero Batman, whose game appearances are from Warner. It is possible that the masked avenger Batman and his allies and enemies will soon appear in Lineage 2 Revolution. This sounds quite odd, but more details are not yet known.
