The highlights in January:
- On January 6, Chimeraland was released. In this MMORPG, you can play the craziest beast creatures and also breed animals as pets or mounts.
- Broken Ranks announced its release for January 25. Here, a turn-based combat system awaits you.
- With Mortal Online 2, another MMORPG is set to release on January 25.
The stir of the week: New World will receive a new, major patch in January, which makes adjustments to dungeons and endgame equipment.

ESO gives teaser for 2022, a new MMORPG aims to offer 156 factions
This is what happened with the major MMORPGs:
- In WoW, it is currently quiet, but we have summarized the latest rumors for the next expansion.
- In Final Fantasy XIV, the new patch 6.0.5 has been released. Additionally, there were two curious news items this week: On the one hand, there are now pole dance poles for your own house and on the other hand, houses are now being sold at prices for which you could even get a PS5.
- ESO released a short teaser hinting at the race that will play an important role in 2022. We from MeinMMO also did an interview with a PvP player who already has more than 8,000 play hours.
- In New World, there were discussions about bots in addition to the patch. Some of them have already reached level 60 without the developers having banned them so far.

- Astellia technically died in 2021, but has now been bought by a new company. A return would thus be possible.
- EVE Online starts a crossover with one of the best series in the world in January.
- Fans have recreated their favorite MMORPG Tibia Online in Minecraft in a 3D world.
- Elyon announced the new class Archer and server merges for January 12 (via Elyon).
- ArcheAge has banned over 270 accounts under the new publisher Kakao Games (via ArcheAge).
- Lord of the Rings Online has introduced a new premium house (via MassivelyOP).

- The new game Rulers of the Sea makes you a pirate in the 18th century and aims to offer 156 factions and 760 cities.
- Chronicles of Elyria was originally buried in 2020 before the release, but is now supposed to come out in 2022.
