In Helldivers 2 a foe currently dominates the battlefield like no other, and since the last update, deaths shine even more in the spotlight.
What enemy are the Helldivers afraid of? The Helldivers have just rescued Over-Earth from the attack of the Illuminated, but one enemy still terrorizes the brave soldiers: the Leviathan spaceships.
These gigantic spaceships are heavily armored all around, and even with the strongest efforts of the Helldivers, the fight against them proves to be extremely tough.
Worse than their thick ship hull, however, is their armament. The spaceships are equipped with laser cannons that can obliterate Helldivers with a single shot. Additionally, there are plasma bomb launchers under the wings of the spaceships, which can attack you even more easily. A change was supposed to weaken the enemies now, but in reality, it only reveals their true potential.

What has the patch changed? The developers seem to have realized that the Leviathan spaceships are too strong with their one-shot mechanic. Therefore, a nerf was supposed to come, which is intended to help the Helldivers primarily to avoid attacks in time.
The enemy spaceships recently received searchlights that show the brave soldiers of Over-Earth exactly when they are in the crosshairs of the enemy Leviathan. But now that the Helldivers can see exactly when they must dodge, they realize that it doesn’t work very well. The spaceships are so strong and quick in their targeting that even perfect dodging only increases the survivability by a few seconds.

How are players reacting to this? Now that players know exactly that they have become the target of the spaceship and are no longer simply taken out because of carelessness, it becomes clear to them how strong the enemies are.
