Although we are still in Fortnite Season 5 Chapter 2, there is already a theory about how the next Season 6 could unfold. Some believe that the cube “Kevin” could return and cause chaos on the map.
What is this theory? We are now in Chapter 2 of Fortnite: Battle Royale and players seem to be discovering parallels to Chapter 1. The respective seasons are said to be connected to their predecessor.
That is also suggested by YouTuber Ali-A, who constantly points out the similarities between the seasons. For example, he mentions Season 4, where we experienced a superhero theme and comparatively received real Marvel superheroes in Season 4 Chapter 2.
Looking at this more closely, the theory states: “The previous seasons will be repeated in Chapter 2, but with a twist.” This has also led to the theory about what Season 6 in Fortnite could look like.

Will Kevin the Cube return?
This is what is supposed to happen in Season 6: If the theory is correct and the seasons are indeed connected and repeated, it could give us a hint about how Season 6 will unfold.
In Season 6 Chapter 1, the theme was: “The darkness rises.” The big star of the season was the giant cube, dubbed “Kevin” by the community. After rolling around the map for weeks in Season 5, it submerged into Loot Lake and transformed into a floating island.
The floating island also moved around the map and provided players with a way to fly high with the vortex and glide beautifully. However, this sometimes caused chaos, as enemies could get stuck in the vortex for a long time and could not be killed.
Will we see our old acquaintance again? After all, we just have the Zero Point from Chapter 1 on the map of Season 5, so a return of Kevin doesn’t seem so far-fetched.
However, keep in mind that this is not yet confirmed and is still just a theory. We will likely have to wait until the first hints about Season 6 appear so we know if the return of this notorious cube will actually happen. Until then, there are still some exciting things to expect in Season 5. A leak has already shown that a popular location could change completely soon.
