Place 1: NCR (New California Republic)

The major difference between the NCR and all other groups on this list is that this “faction” essentially functions like a state. The aim is to continue the democracy from before the war. This should be achieved with an elected government, fair courts, and equal protection for all – even for mutants.
After the Great War, the NCR represented the largest area and encompassed five former states. Gradually, they began to take a more aggressive approach to conquer new land.
The immense strength of the NCR lies in the sheer size of its army. Tens of thousands of soldiers and ranger units fight for freedom. Logistics are not a problem, as over 700,000 citizens stand behind the NCR.
In terms of numbers alone, the NCR outmatches the competition. The economy behind it ensures the constant maintenance of technology, and the faction also conducts its own research to further develop. They rely on standard weapons but also on the flying Vertibirds. In a war, the NCR is thus in the lead and deserves the first place in our ranking.
