The Brotherhood of Steel is one of the best-known factions from Fallout. It was founded in 2077. Its origins lie in the rebellion of Captain Roger Maxson from the military against government experiments. Back then, the FEV virus was tested on soldiers.
After the war, the Brotherhood, which is highly hierarchical and militarily structured, focuses primarily on one thing: finding, preserving, and preventing the use of pre-war technology.
In particular, advanced weapons should not fall into the hands of “normal people”. The medieval-looking faction with its knights and paladins relies on powerful energy weapons and heavy artillery. They are also well known for their frequent use of power armor, which makes the knights easily recognizable from a distance.
The Brotherhood stands at the forefront in the Wasteland and has achieved significant victories against the Enclave, raider tribes, and the Master’s faction.
