Place 5: New Vegas/Mr. House

When one thinks of factions from Fallout, Mr. House probably doesn’t come to mind first. However, he is the ruler of New Vegas and therefore an important part of the Wasteland with much power.
Robert House, the name of the eccentric man, demonstrated foresight before the Great War in 2077 and prepared for the fall of the bombs. He managed to save Las Vegas from destruction by deactivating 59 nuclear warheads and ordering 9 more to be launched.
House connected his brain to a supercomputer and only awoke in 2138 from a long coma. Since then, he has led the city, now New Vegas, to new strength. Essential for this are his Securitron robots, armed with great firepower, which turn the city into a fortress.
Three families, the Omertas, the Gourmands, and the Chairmen, run the casinos. Mr. House oversees them all and controls everything. Additionally, he made good relations with the NCR, the New California Republic, and used their conflict with Caesar’s Legion to gain additional control in the areas around New Vegas.
